The highly anticipated mainnet launch of Crypto.com’s Cronos Chain begins Monday, November 8th. RelayChain will enable its bridge to connect 10 other popular blockchains to the new network following the launch. There are multiple partners already lined up to use RelayChain as their bridge to Cronos.

Cronos is the EVM chain running in parallel to the Crypto.org Chain. It aims to massively scale the DeFi ecosystem, by providing developers with the ability to instantly port DApps from Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, with funding from Particle B’s $100m EVM fund and access to the 10M+ user base of the Crypto.com ecosystem. The native token base currency will be CRO, which sits at a current market cap ranking of #26 at over $9 Billion. Aside from RelayChain, Cronos users will be able to import funds directly from the Crypto.com app, Crypto.com exchange, and from their own bridge from the crypto.org chain.

RelayChain enables fast, secure and low cost cross-chain token transfers between the worlds leading blockchains. The platform offers Bridging as a Service (BaaS) to partner networks and dApps wishing to expand their footprint beyond a single chain. RelayChain currently supports bridges between any combination of Harmony, Moonriver, IoTeX, Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, Fantom, Avalanche, Shiden and HECO. Multiple popular networks will be added in the near future. A unique feature of RelayChain is that once a token exists on our platform, it can be bridged to any other EVM in our list of networks. This can be done in one step without need to return to the parent chain first. This represents a major feature of speed and convenience for all of the users. The RELAY token holds high utility as it will be used to reward stakers with a share of the native gas tokens collected from bridging fees. It’s a deflationary token; the more transactions that occur, the more RELAY is bought back and burned. RelayChain can quickly enable any project’s tokens to be bridged at no cost to the project.

How will RelayChain help Cronos to kickstart their DeFi ecosystem? RelayChain will be able to connect Cronos to nine other popular blockchains, including; Polygon, Avalanche, Moonriver, BSC, Shiden, HECO, IoTeX, Harmony, Ethereum. Partnerships are already lined up with decentralized exchanges, yield aggregators and other projects. We are excited to announce the first partnership will be the decentralized exchange, Crodex.
